A funeral service for Dawn Wise will be held Friday, February 7 ^th , 2020 at Downs Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Bro. James Runnels will be officiating the service. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service.

Dawn Wise, 48, of Waskom, Texas was born February 14 ^th , 1971 to her parents Paul Belt and Peggy Whitten. Mrs. Wise passed away February 4 ^th , 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mrs. Wise was a homemaker and mother of two. She was an active member of Crossroads Baptist Church and a graduate of both Longview High School and Kilgore College.

Mrs. Wise is survived by her husband, John W. Wise III of Waskom, Texas; parents, Paul and Peggy Belt of Longview, Texas; children, John W. Wise IV and Andrew Paul Wise, both of Waskom, Texas; and brother, Patrick Belt and wife, Stacy, of Longview, Texas. Also left to cherish Mrs. Wise's memories are numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any donations be made to Relay for Life.
