Denise Burress Farris, 70, of Milburn, Oklahoma passed away on August 26, 2025, in Marshall, Texas.

Denise was born on May 15, 1955, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Boby G. Burress and Lis N. Stevens Burress. She graduated from McClain High School in 1973. She was a singer and performer all over the U.S. She was an opening act for Hank Thomspon in Las Vegas and even toured the U.S. with her own band on cruise ships and lounges. She loved her pets and rescued many shelter dogs. She loved to travel. She was disabled early in life due to multiple sclerosis, but she battled on bravely throughout the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Lois Burress.

She is survived by her husband, Denny Farris; numerous cousins in the Tulsa area along with other family and friends.
