Dennis Moreland, 79, of Marshall, Texas passed away on February 25, 2021 in Longview, Texas. He was born on November 24, 1941 in La Porte, Indiana to his parents, Marion Bluford Moreland and Audrey Philyaw. Mr. Moreland married the love of his life, Donna Marie Putman Moreland on June 20, 1964. He was a Rotorian and member of Marshall Club for many years. Mr. Moreland was known as a "tinkerer", he loved to tinker, invent things, and fix things. What he enjoyed most was traveling, camping, and family beach trips. He was a family man and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Mr. Moreland is survived by his wife of 56 years, Donna Moreland; children, Elizabeth Ray and spouse, Mark, Patrick Moreland and spouse, Sarah, and Shannon McCurry and spouse, Keith; brother, Stephen Moreland and spouse, Judy; sister, Adele Thorley and spouse, Ken; grandchildren, Katie Golladay and spouse, Braxton, Alex Ray, Donna Marie Moreland, Austin Ray, Nevin Moreland, Konner McCurry, and Marco Moreland; great-grandchild, Kash Ryder Golladay. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mr. Moreland is preceded in death by his parents and son, James Dennis Moreland.

There will be no services held at this time for Mr. Moreland.
