Dennis Phillips, 61, passed away on October 27, 2021 in Tyler, Texas. Dennis was born on August 15, 1960 in Linden, Texas, the son of Betty Lou and Oran Clarence Phillips. Dennis is survived by his father, O.C. Phillips; his loving wife, Gaye Phillips; daughters, Barbara Long and spouse, Joshua and Connie Jenkins and spouse, James; stepdaughter, Brittany Dyer; step son, Dallas Dyer and spouse, Harley; brothers, Mark Phillips and spouse, Cathy and Oran Phillips and spouse, Kelli and one sister, Carmen Nevala and spouse, Al; 11 grandchildren and numerous other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lou Phillips.

Dennis loved the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing. He loved building things, watching the Dallas Cowboys and loved to eat sweets. Most of all, he loved having his family around him.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Shiloh Cemetery in Jefferson, Texas. A time for visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. at the cemetery.
