Diane Paternostro Ragas entered into eternal rest on July 16, 2021. Daughter of the late Charline Hopel Doucet and Angelo Michael Paternostro. Step-daughter of the late Francis J. Doucet. Beloved mother of Chad Michael Ragas (Brandy) and Shauna Ragas Bolin (Bill) and stepmother of Brenda Ragas Elder (Chris) and Lyle Bruce Ragas, Jr. "Buzzy" (Cammie). Loving grandmother of Destinee Bolin Hency (William), Chance Bolin, Taylor Ragas, Tanner Ragas, Brett Ragas, Cross Mastio, and Chloe Mastio. Great-grandmother of Peyton Hency. Diane loved her deceased sisters' grandchildren as her own, Brees Paternostro, Parker Paternostro, Brayden Paternostro and Tristan Paternostro. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Angeline "Angie" Blanchard, Geraldine "Gerri" Chester and Patricia "Sister"Paternostro. Diane is survived by her brother, Donovan Doucet, her godchildren, Brandon Paternostro (Amanda) and Danielle D. Phillips (Travis), her nephew, Shane Paternostro (Lindsey), as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She retired from the City of Gulfport in 2017 after many years of service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at Hosanna Church, 2215 Barataria Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072.
