Dianne
Ivey
Nov 10, 1946 — Oct 1, 2025
Harleton
Dianne Ivey, age 78, of Harleton, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Dianne lived a life full of faith, love, and quiet strength. She had a special way of making everyone feel at home in her presence — her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support touched the lives of many.
Dianne was the heart of her family, and nothing brought her more joy than being surrounded by those she loved. Alongside her husband, Glen Ivey, she co-owned and operated a successful tire store for 25 years — a true partnership built on dedication, hard work, and shared dreams. Their life together was marked by love, commitment, and the kind of teamwork that leaves a lasting legacy.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Glen Ivey, and her children: Traci and Kevin Jones, Rusty and Lori Ivey, and Lori and Mike Howeth. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Kristen and Mark Clifton, Adam and Abby Jones, Kyndall and Rory Hollon, Kathryn and Chadley Hollas, Ty and Kaitlyn Howeth, Emily and Paul Bloom, Carrie and Luke Morrow, , Noah Dunn, Natalie Dunn, Will Ivey — as well as 13 cherished great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy: Reid, Owen, Halle Kate and Karis Clifton; Aubrey, Addison and Avery Jones, Benji and Frankie Hollas; Haylyn and Riggs Hollon and Emersyn and Sage Howeth.
She is also survived by her siblings: Ray and Annette Cunningham, Paula and Johnny Thacker, and Becky and Terry Simpson, along with numerous beloved nieces and nephews who were each dear to her heart.
Dianne had a gift for creating beauty and order in everything she touched. She loved organizing — and if it could be labeled, she labeled it. Her attention to detail was unmatched, and her sense of structure brought peace and clarity to those around her. She also had a remarkable eye for design and a passion for remodeling homes and buildings. Whether it was a major renovation or a small project, Dianne brought vision, creativity, and excellence to every space she improved — and she did so often and well.
Dianne's warmth, steady faith, and caring spirit will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered. Her life was a beautiful example of grace, humility, and unconditional love.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Chapel at Ivey Acres on Sunday, October 19, 2025, with visitation from 2:00–4:00 PM and the service beginning at 4:00 PM. All who knew and loved Dianne are welcome to attend and honor her memory.
