A graveside service for Donald DeWayne "Blackout" Guffey, 58, of Jefferson, Texas will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, June 13, 2025, at New Grover Cemetery in Marshall, Texas. A visitation for family and friends will be held during normal business hours on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Downs Funeral Home.

Donald was born on August 6, 1966, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Donald Alford Guffey and Sandra Jean Phillips Guffey and passed away on June 5, 2025, in Tyler, Texas.

He married Tracy Kellar on June 13, 1992 and the two were married for 33 years. They renewed their wedding vows on their 20th wedding anniversary in 2012. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was a truck driver for 18 plus years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Sandra Guffey; four sisters and his best friend, his dog, Jack.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy Guffey; children, Jonathan Guffey (Taylor), Kayla Holt (Jacob), Aaron Guffey; sister, Salina Raymundo (Adeelmo); grandchildren, Ember Guffey and Corbin, Lincoln and Forrest Holt along with numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and other family and friends.
