Dorothy Johnson Haltom's Obituary
A graveside service for Dorothy Johnson Haltom 84, of Waskom, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2018 at Restland Cemetery with Bro. Pete Sellers officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Downs Funeral Home.
Dorothy Johnson Haltom was born October 9, 1933 to Flois Johnson and Myrtis Mask in Athens, LA. Mrs. Haltom always wanted to be outside, she enjoyed gardening, feeding and watching the birds, and fishing. She loved being able to spend time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Surviving Mrs. Haltom are her children, Robert Wayne Haltom and Wife Dinna, Lisa K. Golden and husband Ralph, Donna Gayle Haltom, and Michael Dean Halton and wife Lisa; brother, Bobby Gaylon Johnson, 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous other family and friends.
Mrs. Haltom is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Truitt Haltom; both her mother and father; and brother, Donald Johnson.
