Ms. Jones passed away December 26, 2010 in LongviDorothy Jones Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Jones, 81, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 31, 2010 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Captain Ray Woods officiating. Interment will follow in the Eagle Creek Cemetery in Harleton The family will receive friend from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, December 30th at the Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Jones passed away December 26, 2010 in Longview, Texas. Dorothy Lorraine Jones was born in Corning, New York to Earl Dee and Iva Cornish Dee on September 4, 1929. She was a member of Marshall Church of Christ. She loved painting and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband William Freeman Jones of Marshall, her daughters Vicki Ellis of Granbury, Janet Jones Coston of Houston, Jeanie Beckham, also of Houston, and Lisa Jones of Marshall, her son William F. Jones, Jr., also of Marshall. Also surviving Mrs. Jones are her seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren and her sister Mary Woods of Surfside Beach, South Carolina. Serving as pallbearers are Jason Beasley, Damien Beckham, Glennwood Oney, Chris Rachal, Steve Rachal, and William Andrew Jones. ew.
