Graveside Services for Dorothy Spears will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Longridge Cemetery in Marshall, Texas.

Dorothy Spears was born in Marshall, Texas on March 8, 1926 to the late Henry Phillips and Emma Phillips. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Longridge CME Church.

Dorothy Spears attended Marshall Public Schools.

Dorothy Spears went to live with Jesus on Friday, August 6, 2021.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Henry and Emma Phillips. All four brothers also proceeded her in death, Curry Phillips, Joe V. Phillips, Ester Phillips, Henry Phillips and one sister Bobbie Jean Phillips.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, Shandon Boyd and spouse, Kim (caregiver), Pearline Irving of Marshall, Tx, Susie Jennings of Arlington, Tx, Bill Boyd and spouse Monica of Lancaster, Tx, Curtis Phillips and spouse Lovie of Clute, Tx, one Godson, Jamaal Durden of Marshall, Tx and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
