Dorothy Mae Sullivan, 76, of Burleson, Texas passed away peacefully Sunday, September 6, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas surrounded by her loving family.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Karnack, Texas with Clark Sullivan officiating and under the direction of Downs Funeral Home of Marshall, Texas.

Dorothy Mae Sullivan was born on August 11, 1944 in Karnack, Texas to Lawrence Sullivan and Martie (Hullit) Sullivan.  Dorothy attended Pleasant Hill Church in Karnack, Texas and helped there as an usher and with many other church activities. She was a loving and caring housewife and mother to her children; she was an avid workaholic and volunteered in the home health care taking care of others in need.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Martie Sullivan; her son, William Odell Serrod Jr. She is survived by her sons; Clark Sullivan and Gary Serrod; her brothers, Charlie and Kelly B. Sullivan and her sister Gertha Mae Jackson and her grandchildren and their spouses; LaQuaisha Howard, Ghalen Sherrod, LaCourtney Sherrod, Tina Amie, Corey Amie, Antoinette Lucas (Roderick), Christian Sullivan (Tracy), Korrin Mallonee, Daniel Allen, Yuri Herod, and D'avage Herod; 12 great grandkids, 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
