Earl Minniefield was born to the late Will Minniefield and Alice Woolridge on May 20, 1934 in Marshall, Texas. Earl was called home on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Baylor Scott Centennial Hospital in Frisco, Texas. He accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Pemberton Marshall High School and graduated from AM&N College of Pine Bluff, Bachelor's Degree in Coaching and Physical Education. Earl retired in Waldo Arkansas after 30 years his motivation to others were "Stay Strong" & "Never Give Up". Earl's nickname "Proof" & "Coach".

His journey has been a long and joyus one. However now his joy and journey has just begun because he has transitioned over to be with his Master hi Lord and Savior. H united in holy matrimony to the later, Jean Jones. To this union five children were born. Two sons and three daughters, Patricia Minniefield of Dallas, Texas, Belva Minniefield of Frisco, Texas, Juan Minniefield of Los Angeles, California, Chris Minniefield of Dallas, Texas, and one daughter who preceded him in death, Granada Minniefield. He leaves behind one sister, Florence Minniefield, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great nephew, Devon Anthony, a beautiful host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
