Funeral services for Edith Mozelle Moore McKinley, 91, of Marshall, will be held 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Dr. Wallace Watkins officiating. Interment will follow in Algoma South Cemetery. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesdau, April 16, 2013 prior to the service. Mrs. McKinley passed away April 11, 2013 in Friendswood, Texas. Edith Mozelle Moore McKinley was born in Marshall, TX on May 4, 1921 to Drew and Dolly Harris Moore. She married J.R. McKinley in Mesa, AZ in 1944. Mr. McKinley was a navy flyer, and Mrs. McKinley returned home to wait for her husband to return from overseas. Mrs. McKinley was a registered cosmetician and retired from Jack Kerr Pharmacy. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Mrs. McKinley is survived by her son, Robert McKinley and wife Sandra of Houston, daughter, Linda Frances Wright and husband Ernie of Nokesville, VA; granddaughters, Heather Omanzor, Charis Crockett; grandsons, Michael Crockett and Christopher Parker; 5 great grandchildren; brother J.W. Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
