Eric Ray Sanders, 46, of DeBerry TX, passed away on May 22, 2024, after complications from various health issues.

Eric was born on August 30, 1977, to Deborah Kay Mullins and Jimmy Ray Sanders in West Memphis, Arkansas.

He enjoyed listening to Rock and Metal music, playing video games, raising and training dogs, and spending time with his family. He had a great sense of humor and could usually think of a story or something to make you laugh. Quite often the happiest he would be, was when he was able to be around his family. When his health went downhill, he would grin the widest when getting to visit with his sister, Tina, and his nieces and nephews. His life was a hard one at times, but one that had a testimony at the end that he believed that Jesus died for his sin, was buried, and rose again, and he was certain Heaven was his home.

Rom 5:7-8 For scarcely for a righteous man one will die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Deborah Mullins.

He is survived by his wife, Felicia (Ballard) Sanders; father, Jimmy Sanders, mothers Barbara Sanders and Samantha (Ciener) Sanders; brothers, Jimmy Sanders and Jonathan Sanders, sister, Tina (Sanders) Vallejo; son, Chance Sanders and daughter, Erica Sanders as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who love him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Waskom, Texas. Interment will follow at Yates Cemetery in Scottville, Texas.
