A Funeral Service for Estefania Torres Arenas, 87, of Marshall will be held at 12pm Saturday, July 09, 2016 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Marshall.  A time of visitation will take place Friday, July 08, 2016 at Downs Funeral Home from 6pm to 8pm.

Estefania was a respectful, loveable and excellent housewife. She loved to take care of her plants and her many flowers. She always wore her special shawl. Estefania loved to cook and make warm tortillas for her family. She dedicated her entire life to taking care of her husband and her children.

She is survived by her six daughters and two sons: Julia Torres, Juana Torres and husband Luis, Celia Torres and husband Joaquin, Anacleta Torresand husband Juan Antonio, Virgina Torres and husband Catalino, Irene Torres and husband Silvestre, Prudencio Torres and wife Idalia y Quintin Torres and wife Lorena. She is survived by her brothers, Maximo Meza and Juan Meza; sisters, Adolfa Meza, Viviana Meza, Valentina Meza, Vale Meza, Ricarda Meza and Petra Meza; 40 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Estefania fue una senora muy hogarena, respetosa y amorosa. Le gustaba mucho cuidar de sus plantoas y tener muchas flores. Le guestaba usar su reboso como muestra ole humildad. Le encantaba concinar y hacer tortillas calientes para su familia. Toda su vida se dedico a su esposo y a su familia.

Le sobreviven, sus seis hijas y dos hijos; Juana Torres yesposo, Julia Torres, Celia Torres y esposo Joaquin, Anacleta Torres y esposo Juan Antonio, Virgina Torres y esposo Catalino, Irene Torres y esposo Silvestre, Prudencio Torres y esposa Idalia y Quintin Torres y esposa Lorena. Le sobreviven hermanos Maximo Meza y Juan Meza; hermanas, Adolfa Meza, Viviana Meza, Valentina Meza, Vale Meza, Ricarda Meza y Petra Meza; 40 nietos, 36 bisnietos y dos tataranietos. La familia desea dar las gracias a toda la familia y   amigos por todo su amor y apoyo. Se ha ido pero siempre estará en nuestro corazon
