Funeral services for Ms. Ethel Wright, 83 of Harleton will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday November 17, 2010 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Rev. Debby Brown and Rev. Mike Brittain officiating. Interment will follow in Eagle Creek Cemetery in Harleton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday November 16, 2010. Ms. Wright passed away Monday, November 15, 2010. Ethel Wright was born February 13, 1927 in James, Texas to John T. Jones and Annie Mae Wells Jones. On December 14, 1942, in Marshall she married James Richard Wright who preceded her in death on February 12, 2004. She was a homemaker and a member of Harleton Methodist Church. Surviving Ms. Wright are three sons; James Randall Wright and wife Gwen, Scotty Dale Wright and Kenneth Richard Wright and wife Pam all of Harleton; grandchildren, Jimmy and Cheryl Shepherd, Randall Shane and Gwendolyn Natasha Wright all of Harleton and Nathan and Charity Lenox of Carthage and great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Zach Shepherd and Mikayla and Matthewson Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers and one sister. Serving as pallbearers are Randall Shane Wright, Jimmy Shepherd, Bobby Jones, Robert Wooten, Garry Ormes and Nathan Lenox. Honorary pallbearer will be Zach Shepherd.
