Graveside services for Euell Lee "Mutt" Sanders, 88 of Marshall will be held at 2p.m., Friday November 27, 2015 at the little chapel by the lake at Colonial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Randy Fitzgerald officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday November 25, 2015 at the funeral home. Mr. Sanders passed away November 24, 2015.

Euell Lee "Mutt" Sanders was born November 1, 1927 in Beckville, Texas to C.C. "Buddy" Sanders and Maude Harris Sanders. He attended school in Beckville, Texas. On September 15, 1948 he married Peggy Norman Sanders. Mutt was employed by Southwestern Electric Power Company for 37 years. He was an active member of Summit Methodist Church as well as a past president of the Marshall Lions Club.

Surviving Mutt are his wife of 67 years, Peggy Sanders; one son, Frank Norman Sanders and wife Rhonda; grandson, Stacy Sanders and wife Carrie; great-grandchildren, Savana, Caleb and Kylie ; sister-in-law, Patsy Clayton; numerous nieces and nephews and his loving cats, Millie and Maggie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Vernon Alfred Sanders and sister, June Mims.

The family would like to say a special thanks to Frances Buford, Annette Mukes and Hearease Moore.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Summit United Methodist Church, Marshall; Marshall Hospice and Marshall Lions Club.
