Eunice Vivian
Lindsay Harber
Apr 11, 1936 — Feb 21, 2025
Hallsville
Eunice Vivian Lindsay Harber, born to Walter Huffman and Willie Mae Lindsay on April 11, 1936. She passed away at home on February 21, 2025.
Vivian lived her childhood exploring Marshall, Texas barefoot with her sister, Carroll Flanagan or throwing newspapers from her brother, Fred's bicycle. They collected tires and cans for the war effort.
Vivian met Richard Harber and enjoyed 56 years of marriage until his death in 2009. They spent their years working and living life. Vivian was employed for 28 years at GSMC as a nurse. She was a mother to Sandra Harber, Peggy Coyne and Marty Harber. Those children further blessed them with grandchildren, Jennifer Roberts, Sarah Taylor and Hayley Pierce along with bonus grandchildren, Tyler and Amanda Mosier from a previous marriage. Another level of blessings came with great grandchildren, Ashton and Evie Roberts, Dylan and Kenzie Taylor and Arya and Amelia Pierce. More excitement was expected with her first great great grandchild, Emersyn, due soon.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; daughter, Sandra; son, Richard Michael and recently daughter-in-law, Sybil Harber. Also, preceding her in death were her parents, brothers, Fred and Walter and sisters, Elizabeth and Carroll. She also leaves behind special sisters-in-law, Lorene Carpenter and Mary Ann Smith.
Vivian impacted many lives with her love, compassion and acceptance through her nursing career and as a much-loved mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend. She was the center of our family which creates a major loss to many. This lady was magic and the music of our souls.
