Exa Elizabeth
Tittle Digiovanni
Dec 2, 1952 — Jul 27, 2026
Marshall
Exa Elizabeth Tittle DiGiovanni, 73, of Marshall, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on December 2, 1952, in Marshall, Texas, Exa was the beloved daughter of Dorothy Reeves Tittle and Lemuel Craig Tittle, Jr. She attended Marshall schools and graduated from Marshall High School in 1971. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Austin before pursuing her Master of Social Work from Boston University. While attending Boston University, Exa was a proud member of the women's rugby team. She embraced the challenge of the sport and the lifelong friendships it brought, carrying that same strength and loyalty throughout her life.
While living in Boston, Exa met the love of her life, John Joseph "Jack" DiGiovanni. Together they built a beautiful life, sharing 46 years together after marrying in 1980. They eventually returned to Marshall to be close to her cherished grandmother, Bessie Tittle, where they established their home and raised their family.
Exa dedicated her professional life to serving others through social work. Throughout her distinguished career, she worked with MHMR in Marshall, Meadow Pines in Longview, and East Texas Open Door in Marshall. She had a servant's heart and found great purpose in helping those facing life's greatest challenges. Her compassion, kindness, and unwavering commitment to others left a lasting impact on countless lives.
To know Exa was to know genuine kindness. She was selfless in every sense of the word, always placing the needs of others before her own. She had a gentle spirit, a warm smile, and an incredible ability to make everyone feel valued and loved. Her greatest joy was her family.
Nothing brought Exa more happiness than being "Nana" to her precious granddaughter, Tatum Elizabeth Fitzhenry. Tatum was truly the light of her life and the center of her world. Whether cheering her on, spending time together, or simply enjoying everyday moments, Exa treasured every second she was blessed to spend with her granddaughter. The bond they shared was one of immeasurable love.
Exa was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Estelle Reeves Tittle; her father, Lemuel Craig Tittle Jr.; her beloved grandmother, Bessie Potts Tittle; her grandfather, Lemuel Craig Tittle Sr.; her grandmother, Vestal Elizabeth Strickland Reeves; her grandfather, Robert Thomas Reeves; and her sister, Julie Tittle Huntsberger.

"Klip" Morefield III; her nieces, Anna Huntsberger Thornton and Lora Morefield; her nephews, Bryan Huntsberger and Will Morefield; and many extended family members, dear friends, and former colleagues whose lives were forever enriched by her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love.
