We are here to announce the passing and celebrate the life of Francine Kay Lukehart, 74, of Waskom, TX, Devoted, Daughter, Mother, Sister, Nana and Christian. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, James Lukehart, Jr. of Waskom, TX, her parents Harold and Roberta Walker of Alice, TX, and sister Jeanie Spacek of Victoria, TX. She is loved by her children, Becky (Dominic) Salinas of Corpus Christi, TX and James Lukehart III of Waskom, TX, as well as her granddaughter Victoria Nell Salinas of Corpus Christi, TX. She is also survived by her aunt Patricia O'Malia of Cleburne, TX, her aunt Betty Wallek of Nixon, TX, her sister Sharon Cobb of Aransas Pass, TX, her niece Jeanette (Rick) Morales of Corpus Christi, TX, her nephew Michael Cobb of Aransas Pass, TX, her brother in law Victor Spacek of Victoria, TX, her nephew Brian (Anna) Spacek of Victoria, TX, her niece Stephanie (Larry) Hamilton of Victoria, TX and numerous cousins and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Francine and her husband have been actively involved in several southern Baptist churches over the years where Francine has served on many committees over the years. Francine has served faithfully in numerous local and international mission opportunities. Francine's passion was for the people of India and was an avid supporter of Hopegivers International, Inc. Francine loved to travel, read, garden and spending time with family and friends. Francine was a very warm, adventurous, kind and thoughtful woman who will be dearly missed by everyone who has had the pleasure to meet her. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Downs Funeral Home in Marshall, TX. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church Waskom at 2 P.M. on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Another funeral service and burial will be held on November 20, 2021 beginning at 2 P.M. at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home and the burial preceding at Sinton Cemetery in Sinton, TX.
