Services for Frank T. Copeland, 64, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Yates Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2025, at the funeral home. Mr. Copeland passed away on February 21, 2025, in Marshall, Texas.

On February 21, 2025, Frank Tulane Copeland slipped away into his eternal resting place.

Frank Tulane Copeland was the 7th child to be born of 9 children to the late parentage of Frank Copeland Jr. and Ruth Lee Jordan-Copeland on October 30, 1960, in Woodlawn, Texas. He received his education from Marshall High School. He went on to further his education at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA.

Frank was a God-fearing man, who loved and knew the Lord. At an early age he accepted Christ and attended Mt. Zion Church of Woodlawn, TX. He also attended the Full Gospel Holy Temple Church in Marshall, TX. Frank was employed at Parker and Parsley Development Co. Oil & Gas in Woodlawn, TX and was later employed at Prysmian (formerly known as BIC & General Cables) where he retired after 20 years.

Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and friend. He had an unconditional love for his family. He had several things that he enjoyed such as bowling, fishing, farming and especially spending time with his family. His family could always depend on him no matter the time of day he was coming. He was never one to give up or give in. He will truly be missed.

In 1983, Frank Copeland married Lima (Mendoza) Copeland (deceased January 2, 2023), which to this union (2) beautiful daughters were born, Crystal Copeland and Ashley Copeland. He later married Emma Joyce Simington on December 11, 1998.

Frank Copeland is preceded in death by his parents: Frank Copeland Jr. and Ruth Lee Jordan Copeland, mother-in-law, Rose Mary Simington, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Frank leaves to mourn his homegoing, a devoted wife for 26 years, Emma Joyce Copeland, his children: Cyndia (Payton) Simington-Lawson, Crystal Copeland, Ashley Copeland (Robert Hilts), Christian Griffith, Anthony Griffith Jr., Kristi (Justin) Sutphen and Jordan Griffith (17) grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, siblings: Alvis (Sadie) Copeland, Pearlie (Otis) Kirven, LaRue (Clifford) Jenkins, Doris Copeland, Alice Copeland, sister-in-law: Laddie Copeland, a second mother, Lois Foster, a special aunt, Dorothy Copeland along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
