Marshall - Services for Frankie Dehart Barton, 87, of Marshall, will be held 10 AM Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Downs Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Barton passed away on November 6, 2013 at Summer Meadow Nursing Home in Longview. Frankie was born June 27, 1926 in Marshall, Texas to William Frank and Ethel Sanford Dehart. She was a lifelong resident of Marshall. Frankie worked as an LVN at Marshall Memorial Hospital until her retirement and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Marshall. She was lovingly known by her family as "Da Da". She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Barton; and a son-in-law, William Robert Stansbury. She is survived by a son: Joe M. Barton, and wife, Beth; daughter, Sue Stansbury;Grandchildren and spouses: Tanya and Joe Wilhelm, Bobbie Jon Ennis, Tim and Stacey Stansbury, Todd and Debbie Stansbury, Shay and Brandi Manor; Great grandchildren: Kaitlin Ennis; Kylie Wilhelm; Whitney and husband, Ryan Pierce; Tuff Manor; Payton Manor; Hayden and wife, Sterling Stansbury; Cody Stansbury; Amber and husband, Paul Jacks; Shaina Stansbury; Ashley N. Caraway; Ashley Hunter; and Kerry Hendricks.Great-great grandchildren: Avery Pierce, Alexia Mooney and Emma Jacks. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM, Friday, November 8, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home.
