Gary Glenn "Kid" Rudd Graveside funeral services for Gary Glenn "Kid" Rudd, 57 of Waskom will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 13, 2013 in the Restland Cemetery of Waskom. Gary was born in Marshall, Texas on August 5, 1955 to Walter Joyce Rudd and Bobbie Crunk Rudd. He attended Waskom Public School and worked in fabrication for a steel company. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. Gary fought a long hard battle against MS succumbing to it on January 11, 2013. Gary is survived by Tonji Rudd Thomas, his aunts Bess Brumble, Daisy Heitner, Maggie Ferrell and her husband Morris, and Rebecca Abney, and his mother-in-law Carolyn Busby Metcalf. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Janis Graham. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to any M.S. Society of your choice.
