Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 01, 2010 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Rustenhaven officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. to3:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 02, 2010 at the Little Chapel by the Lake at Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Genelle Mills was born on February 25, 1925 in Harrison County. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Genelle was a longtime employee of the Harrison County Clerks Office and retired in 1990. She is survived by her two sisters, Helen Mills Adams of Marshall and Dorothy Mills Toye of Marshall and a large number of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle A. Mills; her sisters, Annie Mae Mills Clements, Beatrice Mills Moore, Mildred Mills Evans and Norma Mills; and her brother, Billy Jack "Buddy" Mills. The family requests memorials to Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
