A graveside service for Mr. Gerald "Bubba" Martin will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Buddy Hancock will officiate the service.

Gerald "Bubba" Edward Martin, Jr., age 59, passed away on April 6, 2021, in Texarkana, Texas.  He was born on July 23, 1961, in Marshall, Texas, to Gerald (Jerry) Edward Martin and Nellie Hancock.  He grew up and attended school in Jefferson.  Bubba lived his life in the Jefferson and Marshall area and enjoyed the outdoors.  He worked as a welder's helper before becoming an exterminator.

He is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law; Debbie and Larry Williams of Marshall, and Traci and David Mims of Texarkana, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Bubba was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Martin and Nellie Hancock Hobbs, and grandparents Gladys and William Martin, Jewell Reel, and Cecil Hancock.
