Geraldine "Jean" Shaw Funeral services for Geraldine "Jean" Shaw, 82 of Marshall will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday May 08, 2011 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Teel officiating. Interment will follow in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., Saturday May 06, 2011 at the funeral home. Mrs. Shaw passed away May 04, 2011 in Marshall. Geraldine "Jean" Shaw was born July 27, 1928 in Tiby, OK to Thomas and Annie Bailey Parker. On November 12, 1947, she married Frank Shaw who preceded her in death. Jean worked for many years at Weisman's and as secretary of First Christian Church where she was a member. She also later worked part-time for the Harrison County Sheriff's Office. Surviving Mrs. Shaw are her son, Mike Shaw of Woodlawn; daughter, Gina Shaw Lee of Midland, Michigan; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Parker; sister-in-law, Vera Parker and several nieces and nephews.
