She married Lewis Davidson on April 19,1936 and their marriage was blessed by four children. She worked for many years at Howard's Department Store where she retired in 1986. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord at an early age and was an active member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Marshall where she taught a Ladies Sunday School class until suffering a stoke in August of 2009. She loved her children and centered her life around them, she also loved the Lord. Making her life a testimony for the Savior she served, was her daily goal throughout her life. Her children and grandchildren loved to gather at her house on Sunday after church to enjoy her good home cooking and visit with her and one another. She was a wonderful cook and was known for her homemade pies especially in Jefferson where she made pies for her son, Robert's restaurant for a time. She could cook a pot roast that would melt in your mouth and a peach cobbler like no one else can. While her family and friends will miss her greatly they are comforted in knowing that she is at home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ where they will again see her one day if they know her Lord.
