Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Marie Perkins, 49, of Waskom will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday November 6, 2010 at New Boggy Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow at New Boggy Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 3-8 p.m., Friday November 5, 2010 at the funeral home. Mrs. Perkins passed away November 1, 2010 in Marshall. Gladys Marie Perkins was born August 11, 1961 in Waskom to Sandy Schumpert and Euradell Douglas Schumpert. She married Joe Perkins in December of 1982. Mrs. Perkins wa a member of New Boggy Baptist Church and a former employee of Lewis Engineering. Surviving Gladys are her husband of 27 years, Joe Perkins, of Waskom; Daughter Tasha Robertson, of Marshall; son, Joseph Perkins, of Longview; two grandchildren; eight sisters and seven brothers.
