Miss Glenna Allene Stone Wellborn passed peacefully in her sleep on June 18, 2017, at her home in Waskom, Texas, at the age of 79. No public services will be held at this time.

Miss Wellborn is survived by her daughter, Lisa Wellborn Hayes and husband Michael of Waskom; her grandson, Brandon Heath Hayes and wife Jordan of Elysian Fields; her grandson, Ty Wesley Hayes of Waskom; her most faithful companion, her dog Casey; and her brother, Calvin Stone.

Miss Wellborn is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Retha Stone, and by her sister and her brother.

Miss Wellborn was born on March 6, 1938, in Odessa, Texas, to Frank and Retha Stone. Miss Wellborn loved to sit in her chair and watch Nascar and old western shows. She found great joy in mowing her grass and tending to her yard. Miss Wellborn spent much of her time crafting, and her family members will forever cherish the stockings she made for each of them to hang at Christmas time. Miss Wellborn is remembered by all who knew her as a kind, generous, and caring lady. Her grandchildren affectionately knew her as "Granny," and she always enjoyed their company more than anything.
