A graveside funeral service for Glennice J. Farrer Holder will be held at 2:00pm Friday, April 01, 2016 at Yates Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Scottsville, Texas. Visitation will take place Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Downs Funeral Home from 6pm to 8pm. Mrs. Holder passed away Monday, March 28, 2016.

Glennice J. Farrer Holder was born April 22, 1944 in LaGrange, Texas to Gilbert and Amie Farrer. On December 07, 1963 she married James Holder, Sr. Together they built a life taking care of and loving one another. Glennice enjoyed many pastimes and hobbies including working puzzles, doing crafts, studying genealogy and collecting tea sets. Of all her favorite pastimes, one tops them all; spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Those left to cherish the special memories of Glennice are her husband, James Holder, Sr.; daughter, Nerissa Stephens; son James Holder, Jr. and wife, Cindy; daughter-in-law Belinda Holder; grandchildren, Christopher Stephens and wife, Trisha, Michelle Easley, Brandon Holder and wife, Brittney, Lee Stephens, Brittney Holder, Jordan Bailey, Josh Bailey; great-grandchildren, Hailey Stephens, Nelson Stephens, Landon Davis, Macey Holder; brothers, Tony Farrer and Tommy Farrer; sisters, Maria Pena and Elizabeth Gipson as well as other extended family and friends.
