A Celebration of Life for Gloria Hasler, 72, of Marshall, Texas will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2026, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home.

Gloria was born on August 18, 1953, in Marshall, Texas and passed away on March 3, 2026, at her residence in Marshall.

On May 12, 1971, she married John Allen Hasler in Jefferson, Texas, kicking off a nearly 50-year adventure that lasted until his passing in 2020. A true force of nature, she was happiest manicuring the grass and getting dirt under her fingernails; she never met a plant she couldn't grow or a yard project she couldn't tackle with her legendary green thumb. When she wasn't outside, she was likely coaching from her couch, rarely missing a chance to cheer on (or shout at) her beloved Texas Rangers. Above all else, her greatest joy was her family. She poured her heart into family get-togethers making every holiday an event and leaving behind a legacy of warmth, tradition, and unconditional love.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Hasler; mother, Mable Bollman; son, Seth Allen Hasler; brother, Andy McCasland; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Georgia Hasler; sisters-in-law, Lynette O'Conor, Marion Hudspeth, Kellie Hasler, Kathy Mitchell and Bobbie Nell Franks and brother-in-law, Larry Hasler.

She is survived by her children, Shelly Cisco, Jessica Young and Matt Hasler (Tatum) all of Marshall; brother, Stanley Davis (Michelle); brothers-in-law, Greg Franks (Charlene) and Mike Hasler (Debbie) of Marshall and Tony Hasler of Diana; sisters-in-law, Angie Cole (Steve) of Stuart, FL, Kris McTyre of Marshall and Clara Searcy (Tommy) of Pittsburg; grandchildren, Chandler Cisco, Rhyann Arnette (Austin), Janson Cisco, Kaylee Hasler, Caleb Oden, Jayce Oden, Jacob Oden, Chance Hasler, Tanner Hasler, Nathan Hasler, Tate Hasler and Olivia Hasler and great grandchildren, Micah Cisco, Addlee Oden, John Wyatt Arnette, Jenna Arnette, Emilia Cisco, Joey Hasler, Jack Hasler, Amelia Hasler and Kaden Dunn along with a number of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
