A funeral service for Mr. Grant Williams will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Downs Funeral Home. Bro. James McRight and James Runnels will officiate the service. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Downs Funeral Home.

Grant Williams, 35, of Elysian Fields, Texas was born on May 8, 1986 to his parents, Galen Ray Williams and Gail Dodson Hooper. Mr. Williams passed away on June 5, 2021. Mr. Williams enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding 4-wheelers and horses. He loved his hunting dogs, Beth and Rip. He was a proud volunteer fireman with the ESD 3 Station, and was very proud of his 9/11 climb. Mr. Williams was a faithful member of Crossroads Baptist Church; he was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord. He sported blue eyes and was well known for them. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Williams is survived by his parents, Gail Hooper and spouse Tim, Galen Williams and Spouse Joyce; loving wife, Brittney Williams; children, Gavin Williams, Rylee Williams; sisters, Tyler Ann McElligott and husband Matt, Amber Cox; bonus parents, Orin and Tina "Louise" Woods; bonus brother, Justin Woods and spouse Madeline; numerous other loving family and friends.

Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his daughter, Hayleigh Rae Williams; brother, Garrett Scott Williams; and his grandparents.
