A graveside service for Greg "Groovy" Ledbetter, 60, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Colonial Gardens Cemetery.

Greg was born on October 2, 1962, in Marshall, Texas to Gerald Benny Ledbetter "Scotty" and Norma Jo Hudson and passed away on March 25, 2023, in Marshall, Texas.

He loved socializing with friends, fishing, hunting and music. He enjoyed cooking, grilling and being outdoors standing by a fire telling stories. He was always the life of the party. Most of all he loved his family, especially his daughter, Heather Jo.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Benny "Scotty" and Norma Jo Crooms and brother, David Ledbetter.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather Simmons and husband, Zachery; brothers, Ricky Ledbetter, Terry Ledbetter and wife, Mitzie and Jerry Ledbetter and wife, Jenny and sister, Yvette Graham and husband, William along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his honor to The American Cancer Society.
