Gwendolyn F. Bryan, 78, of Longview, passed away on June 14, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Hallsville Church of Christ.

Ms. Gwendolyn F. Bryan was born December 28, 1944, to her parents Willis Clarence Ford and Esther Catherine Anderson. She moved from Ajo Arizona to East Texas in 1996, where she made her home. She was raised as a Lutheran. Ms. Bryan loved playing mind challenging board game and had a special knack for crocheting. She enjoyed going fishing and could sit for hours looking at family photos reminiscing. Even without a lot of money, she would always find a way to buy or make everyone a gift for Christmas and birthdays. She was truly a good and caring woman.

Ms. Bryan is survived by her daughter, Cathy Phillips; her brother, Greg Ford; grandchildren, Brandon Chad Phillips and Jason Wayne Phillips; great-grandchildren, Baylee Phillips, Brandon Phillips, Brooke Phillips, Brea Phillips, Zach Auirre, Kaeley Phillips, Aliyah Phillips, and Ella Phillips. Also surviving Ms. Bryan are numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and many cherished friends

Ms. Bryan is preceded in death by her parents, Willis C. Ford and Esther Ford; and sister, Jackie Pendleton.
