A memorial service for Harold James Laughter, 95, of Waskom, Texas, will be held at a later date provided by the family.

Harold was born on December 11, 1926, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Earl Knox Laughter and Martha Mae Shipp Laughter and passed away on August 18, 2022, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He served in the US Navy during WWII. He retired from the Railroad prior to working for General Motors in Shreveport for 53 years. He married Peggy Ashley on August 14, 2007, in Georgia and they remained married until his passing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Martha Laughter.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Laughter along with other family and friends.
