A funeral service for Harriet Ann Smith 62, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 10:00a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Trinity Episcopal Church. Father John Himes will be officiating the service. Visitation will be held from 5-7p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Downs Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was a faithful member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She was also a member of Daughters of the King, Alpha Delta Kappa, and Alpha Omicron Pi. She graduated from Ole Miss with a master's degree in Speech Pathology. Mrs. Smith loved her family, children, the elderly; she also loved fuzzy little creatures. She was a true southern lady.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Jerry Smith; son, Brett Smith and spouse, Jihae; brother, Patric Parker; Mrs. Smith is soon to be a grandmother. She is also survived by her nephews, Brian Parker, and Shane Pass; cousins, Ann Rice, Jonathan and Peter Williams, and Ela Johnson; Uncle, Bill and spouse, Nanette Williams; numerous other family and friends.

Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents, Elmo and Majorie Parker.
