A Funeral Service for Heather Lynn Fuqua, 46, of Marshall will be held Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service in Yates Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Scottsville, Texas. Visitation with family and friends will take place Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Downs Funeral Home from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m.

Heather Lynn Fuqua was born May 4, 1970 to Leonard and Rebecca Fuqua in Shreveport, Louisiana. At the age of 5, her family moved to Marshall where she resided until she was 17. Heather moved to Dallas where she resided until 2012 at which time she returned to her hometown of Marshall. Heather was a loving daughter, sister and friend.

Surviving Heather are her mother, Mary Rebecca Storie Hamilton; father, Leonard Ray Fuqua and wife, Billie Jean Fuqua; brothers, Edward Fuqua and husband, Jose Rivera, and Aaron Fuqua and wife, Jodi; sisters, Jennie Piccolo, Christina Hardy, and Victoria McClanahan. She is also survived by her grandfather, Ted R. Storie; nieces, Cassidy Fuqua and Gabriella Noel Luna; and nephews, Bentley Duane Kelly and Ranual Luna.
