Mrs. Helen Daniels (Dear) was the daughter of the late Zack and Ella Boyd. She was born on August 8, 1924 in Hallsville, Texas.

At an early age, she became a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Hallsville, Texas. She graduated from Hallsville schools in 1941.

She was united in Holy Matrimony on January 12, 1947 to Mr. Solomon Daniels, who preceded her in death on February 1, 1999. During her life, she was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star. Although she always called Pleasant Hill her home, she worked alongside her husband at Galilee Baptist Church No. 2 in Hallsville, Texas until he passed away.

Mrs. Daniels passed away on Friday, Februay 13, 2015 at a nursing facility in Marshall, Texas.

To mourn her loss, she leaves her sons - Frank Daniels, Houston,Tx, Craig Daniels, Phoenix, Az, Wayne Daniels (Wanda), Laveen, Az, Olympia Daniels (Ethel), Evansville, In, and Michael Daniels (Alva), Potomac, Md; Grandchildren - Tiffani, Adrienne, James, Kei-Lani, Nani, Michael Solomon, and Meredyth: Great–Granddaughter - Aubree; sisters - Ella Hamilton, Houston, Tx, and Ester Daniels, Fort Worth, Tx;  Aunt - Mrs. Juanita Daniels; Friend, Willie Dean Hill; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
