A Mass of Christian Burial for Hermilo Olvera, 73, of Marshall will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Carlos Rangel officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. A Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home. Hermilo Olvera passed away January 24, 2013 in Longview, Texas. He was born March 13, 1939 in Mexico, the son of Felipa Olvera. He later married Patricia Segundo. Surviving Hermilo are his wife, Patricia Olvera; five sons, Mario Olvera, Arturo Olvera, Enrique Olvera, Antonio Olvera, and Jesus Hermilo Olvera; four daughters, Fidelina Betancourt, Carolina Tello, Virginia Lopez, and Leticia Hernandez; twenty granddaughters; ten grandsons and one brother, Ponciano Olvera.
