A graveside service for Howard Carl Jones 81, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018at Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Downs Funeral Home.

Howard Carl Jones was born the 2nd day of the 11th month in 1936 in Sherman, Texas to his parents Carl Jones and Myrtle Beatrice Scoggins. Howard passed away on the 6th day of the 1st month in 2018.

Howard is survived by daughter, Ruby Jones Allison of Marshall, Texas; son, Russ Jones and wife, Jacky Jones of Dover, Tennessee; six grandsons, Fredrick Kingelberger, CJ Floyd, Casey Ray Jones, Colby Wayne Jones, Corey Allison, and Russ Jones; seven great-grandchildren, Kyle Beth, Kaden, Taylor, Lexi, Ashley Rae, Tayten, and Tucker Grace.

Howard is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years Sarah Ann Rhodes Jones and their two sons, Charles Perry Floyd and Gregory Rhodes Jones.
