A memorial service for Irvin Micheal Sullivan will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 1, 2024, at Downs Funeral Home.

Irvin Micheal Sullivan, age 75, passed away on June 25, 2024, in Marshall, Texas.

Irvin was born on May 25, 1949, in Marshall, Texas to John and Mary Sullivan.

Irvin served in the United States Army as an artillery man with an honorable discharge. His work as a welder's helper took him to Alaska where he worked on the Trans Alaskan Pipeline. He settled into the oilfield where he excelled at his job and became the go to person for many companies. If you had an issue, he was the man to call. Irvin loved many things, one of which was talking on his CB radio. He will be remembered always as a loving brother, husband, father, grandfather, and above all friend.

Irvin is survived by his wife, Debby Sullivan; his two sons, Phillip Sullivan and wife Renee, Scott Sullivan and wife Sandra. His grandson, Kydin Sullivan. His siblings, John L. Sullivan, Jr. and wife Kathy, Ann Nash, and Ginger Woods. Brother-in-law, Rudy Stephens; Mother-in-law Barbara Hudson. Numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Irvin is preceded in death by his parents, John Loyd Sullivan, Sr. and Mary Lucile Woods.

In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made in Irvin's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
