A visitation for Jacob Wesley Smith will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Downs Funeral Home.

Jacob Wesley Smith was born on October 9, 2006 in Longview, Texas and passed away on September 9, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. Jacob loved playing video games, fishing, hunting, camping, traveling, reading, drawing and watching his favorite football teams, the Cowboys and the 49ers. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Jacob enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his favorite uncle, Steven.

Jacob is survived by his mom, Candice Ausselet; step-dad, Tommy Byrd; sister, Natalie Ausselet; brothers, Jeremiah Smith and Zachary Byrd. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and other extended family.

Jacob is preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Raien Evans and Letha Clifton.
