Jacquelyn Virginia Hartley Denney Funeral services for Jacquelyn Virginia Hartley Denney, 80, of Marshall will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Trinity Episcopal Church with Father John Himes officiating. Interment will follow in the Grange Hall Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Downs Funeral Home on Monday, January 21st from 5-7 p.m. Mrs. Denney passed away January 18, 2013 in Kilgore. Jacquelyn was born on February 24, 1932 in Marshall, Texas to Roy C. Hartley and Lillie Pearl Christian Hartley. She married Ron Denney, Sr. on October 6, 1951 in Marshall, Texas. She was co-owner of Denney's Cleaners from 1971-1997. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She and her husband traveled all over the south, ballroom dancing. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Ron Denney, Sr. of Marshall, her son Ron Denney, Jr. and wife Judy of Marshall, her daughter Cheryl Denney, also of Marshall. Also surviving are her five grandchildren Chrystal Denney, Jackie Colvin, Kristi Colvin & Keith George, Hartley Denney, and Everett Denney, seven great grandchildren Devin Kay, Denver Kay, Onlie Colvin, Shelbie Colvin, Lainie Colvin, Kendall Bradley, Cloe George. She was preceded in death by her parents.
