James Monroe "Pookie" Hollis, 76, of Woodlawn, TX passed away July 15, 2013. Mr. Hollis was born March 18, 1937 to John and Mary Hollis. He was a lifetime resident of Woodlawn. He was an Iron Worker. Mr. Hollis is survived by his daughters, Jamie Hollis Heiman of Kewaunee, WI and Wendy Hollis Lewis of Marshall, TX; brother, Bobby Hollis of Woodlawn; sister, Judy Hollis Williams of Jacksonville, TX; grandchildren, Stormy Starr of Elysian Fields, TX, Lacy Hordern of Marshall, TX, Jace, Bryce and Erin Heiman of Kewaunee, WI. Mr. Hollis was preceded in death by his dad, John Jimmy Hollis; mother, Mary Ellen Hollis; sisters, Mary Latham and Bonnie Boyd. There are no services scheduled at this time.
