James Walter Stafford was born on November 6, 1967, in Harrison County, Texas to the late Ida M. Stafford and passed away on May 2, 2025, in Longview, Texas.

He attended Church at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. He attended the State School in Fort Worth, Texas and later moved to Longview, Texas.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one brother, Joe Mack Stafford and wife, Sharon of Karnack, Texas; one sister, Maudie Goodspeed and husband, Walter of Dallas, Texas; two uncles, Roger Stafford and wife, Deloise of Karnack, Texas and Benny G. Stafford along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and other family and friends and his caregiver, Wilma Lawson of Longview, Texas.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Antioch Baptist Church in Karnack, Texas. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery. Mr. Stafford passed away on May 2, 2025, in Longview, Texas.
