Memorial services for James Michael Tinkle, 37 of Marshall will be held at 2pm, Monday, March 3, 2014 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Bro. Carlton Burris officiating. Mr. Tinkle passed away February 25, 2014. James Michael Tinkle was born December 28, 1976 in Longview to Jack D. Sr. and Iris Ann Rogers Tinkle. He attended Immanuel Baptist Church. James was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. Surviving James are his mother, Iris Tinkle Elliot and husband Jerry of Marshall; brother, Jackie D. Tinkle Jr. and wife Kim of Great City, MO; niece, Danielle Marie Tinkle Morgan and husband James of Longview; uncle, Don M. Rogers; aunt, Peggy Cleere. Also surviving James are his dear friend, John Lovelace and his wife Wanda; numerous cousins, extended family and friends and his favorite pets, Ranger and Hershey. He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandmother, Mildred Rogers, two aunts, Gertrude Prothro and Gladys Kornrumpf and two uncles, Ronnie Rogers and Robert Rogers. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jim Cadenhead, Greg Gani, Jerry Smallwood, Joe Craver, Brad Burris, and Kenny Knox.
