James Russell "Jimbo/ChiChi" Walker Funeral services for James Russell "Jimbo/ChiChi" Walker, 54, of Marshall will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 26, 2012 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Segers officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of the Cross, Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Walker passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 in Marshall. Jim was born July 3, 1957 in Marshall to H.E. "Gene" and Patricia Anderson Walker. He was a 1975 graduate of Marshall High School. Jim and Kathy Gray Walker were married December 15, 1975 in Marshall. He was a salesman and retired from R&K Distributers of Longview after 26 years. Jim was a member of Victory Baptist Church and Oaklawn Golf Course. Jim is survived by his wife Kathy Gray Walker of Marshall; a daughter, Stacy Walker Watson of Marshall; grandson, Walker Blaine Watson of Marshall; brother, H.E. "Gene", Jr. and Phyllis Walker of Marshall; sisters-in-law, Judy Akridge and Carolyn Gray, both of Marshall; brother-in-law, Randy and Sondra Gray of Mt. Enterprise, TX; parents-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. E. W. Gray of Nacogdoches, TX; son-in-law, Billy Watson; little brother in Christ, Manuel "Crow" Seals and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Phil Walker; uncle, Lester Carl Walker; and grandparents, Myrtle Thorn Walker, Carl Walker, Russell Anderson and Sissy Cole. Pallbearers will be Danny Bryant, Andrew Darby, Manuel Seals, Joel Jagot, Frank Moran, Jerry Downing. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Morin, Mickey Roberts, Greg Roden, Ron Rainey, Charles Falco and The Oaklawn Golf Gang. The family would like to thank Marshall Hospice, Marshall Manor, Dr. Linda Couch of Longview Cancer Center, Dr. Odette Santa, Dr. Kimberly Barbolla and the Annual Tracy Finley Memorial Golf Tournament and participants.
