A family graveside funeral service for Janice Faye Payne will be held Saturday, March 7 ^th , 2020 at Dean Cemetery at 10:00 A.M. Stacy Sanders will be officiating the service.

Janice Faye "Granny" Payne, 71, of Waskom, Texas was born February 27, 1949 to her parents, Oscar Moore and Elvia Leona Flowers. Mrs. Payne passed away February 29, 2020 in Marshall, Texas. Mrs. Payne loved to be in her yard, working in the garden. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Payne was a resident of East Texas for the last 40 years.

Mrs. Payne is survived by her mother-in-law, Versa Payne of Advance, Missouri; daughters, Tammy Payne Dean and spouse, Joe, of Karnack, Texas, and Carol Ann Payne of Waskom, Texas; sister, Judy Kucera of Jackson, Missouri; brother, Michael Moore and spouse, Peggy, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; sister-in-law, Barbara Crader and spouse, Dennis, of Advance, Missouri; grandchildren, Brittney Fennimore and spouse, Adam, Sarah Dean, Brett Spear and spouse, Paige, Carrie Macklin and spouse, Alex, and Jase Hemken; great grandchildren, Angelina, Jackson, Avery, Zoey, Braden, Benjamin, and Clayton; as well as a host of other nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Payne is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Harold D. Payne; her parents, Oscar and Elvia Moore; father-in-law, Eugene Payne; and brother, Gerald Moore.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any donations be made to Hospice of East Texas.
