A Memorial Service for Jason Lyle Mathis, 42, of Woodlawn will be held at 4:00pm Wednesday, June 08, 2016 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home, with the Reverend Doctor John Himes officiating. Jason passed away Saturday, June 04, 2016.
Jason Mathis was born December 06, 1973 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Jason attended and was a graduate of Marshall ISD. He was co-owner and operator of Pitbull Pressure Testing for many years. On June 02, 2013, Jason married Stephanee in Jefferson, Texas after a 7 year courtship. Jason was a loving husband and father. In his free time, Jason enjoyed hunting with his children and having cookouts with his friends.
Those left to cherish the many memories of Jason Mathis are his loving wife, Stephanee Mathis of Woodlawn; beautiful children, twins, Jace and Rylee Mathis of Woodlawn and their mother Deana Patheal, Dixie Mathis and her mother Melissa Crutcher of Woodlawn, Krista Walker of Marshall, Levi Smith of Woodlawn; parents, Yvette Mathis and Tim Butler; four sisters, Jodi and husband, Gary Beavers of Marshall, Debbie Dreesen of Woodlawn, Blanche and husband, Larry Wriborg of Houston, Dawn and husband, Blake Hammers of Marshall; step-sisters, Crickett and husband, Scott Moore of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Christine and husband, Michael Arnold of Shreveport, LA, as well as many nephews and extended family and friends.Jason Lyle Mathis' Guestbook
