A memorial service for JB Wood, 56 of DeBerry will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, January 10, 2016 in the chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Wilson officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the funeral home. Mr. Wood passed away January 6, 2016.
JB Wood was born December 11, 1959 to James Lee Wood and Claudia Zelma Thomas Wood. JB loved making knives , wood working and building computers. He also loved collecting guns acquiring a large collection. But most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Surviving JB are one daughter, Brittani Wood Grabener and husband Jon-Eric Michael Grabener; one granddaughter, Gracie Ann Grabener. Also surviving him are his three sisters, Janice Sue Cutchall, Francis Marie Brown and spouse Conley Brown and Audrey Delores Kittrell and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece and nephew, Eva Nicole Cooley and Attis Buck.
